Dubai Properties Group boasts a structured Corporate Responsibility (CR) frame-work designed to manage of a company's impact through its operations, products or services and through its interaction with key stakeholders such as employees, customers, investors, local communities, suppliers and others. The carefully crafted framework is divided into 4 key areas where DPG will invest its time on through diverse CR programs. The quadrants are: People: DPG wants to increase the well-being of its employees by taking into account their health & safety, development, engaging them in society, providing them with Equal Opportunities, managing their stress levels, and rewarding them through benefits. Community: A builder of communities, DPG's aim is to contribute to the well-being of the very communities it builds, by engaging in social investment, volunteering, and Emiratization. Environment: DPG recognises that its operations have an impact on the environment around it, and works towards the minimisation of those impacts by adopting measures such as Green Building and relying on an .active Waste Management system to contribute to the well-being of its surroundings. The framework was borne out of DPG's Mubadara initiative, which was created in February 2008, for the group to reciprocate towards the overall benefit of the society by giving back an open, honest and ethical approach to conducting its business. Mubadara, which means ‘initiative' in Arabic has become part of the company's strategy to invest in diverse CR programmes.
